How to use a Luxe Bidet Neo 120 properly?
Step 1: Turn on the T-adaptor and shutoff valve
We will turn off the shutoff valve in the installation process, and some T-adaptor comes with an adjustable valve. Therefore, you should make sure both of them are turned on so that water can go in continuously.
Step 2: Point nozzle mode knob to “nozzle cleaning”
Even though bidets will not get poop on them, the nozzle can be contaminated with use. Therefore, it is better to clean the nozzle before and after each use.
Luckily, this Neo 120 comes with a self-cleaning feature, even if it is just a basic model in all Luxe bidet series.
The nozzle mode knob is the second knob of the side panel, and by turning clockwise, the “nozzle cleaning” mode will activate.
The water stream will flow straight down to wash the nozzle, and you can turn the knob back to “wash” after a few seconds to turn off this feature.
Note that there is a guard gate in front of the nozzle to prevent contamination when not in use.
Step 3: Point water pressure knob from “off” to “low”
The critical step of using this Luxe Bidet Neo 120 bidet attachment is adjusting water pressure.
As you know, this bidet is non-electric. It makes use of the water pressure from your household water pressure, meaning that it could hurt you if it is too high.
For this reason, you should start from the “lowest setting” by pointing the water pressure knob from “off” to “low.” Test it with your hands to see if it is comfortable and gentle to use. Then you can sit down to test it.
If it is your first time using it, you may need to wiggle around on the toilet seat to get into the right position. This is a cold water bidet, so it may be effective in waking you up in the morning.
Step 4: Turn the water pressure knob clockwise gradually
Once you find the perfect position, the next step is to adjust the water pressure. Some people may think the lowest setting is good enough, but others may prefer a stronger water spray.
Remember to take it slowly to avoid any damage to your sensitive skin.
Step 5: Enjoy your bidet spa
As long as you find a comfortable pressure, you can feel relaxed and let the bidet work for you. The water is endless, but a typical session would be within 30 to 60 seconds.

Since only electric bidet seats have built-in dryers, you need something to dry you off while using this Neo 120 unit.
As your backside is clean already, you only need to use 1 or 2 squares of toilet paper or a bidet towel to dab it dry.
That said, if you have enough time, you can airdry it anyway.
Step 7: Point nozzle mode knob to “nozzle cleaning” again
It is time to clean your bidet nozzle again! Turning the nozzle mode knob clockwise and letting the water take away any impurities on the nozzle.
You can stand up to readjust your clothes during this step.
Step 8: Turn off “nozzle cleaning” mode and flush the toilet
After a few seconds, you can point the knob to “wash” and terminate the self-cleaning session.
Don’t forget to flush the toilet before leaving the bathroom. This is not a bidet toilet combo, and it will not flush the toilet on its own.
Important things to consider while using the Luxe Bidet Neo 120?
1. Test the water pressure before first use
The water pressure in each house varies, and the water pressure in the plumbing system is relatively high. Therefore, before initial use, you should test the pressure of your Luxe Bidet Neo 120 with your hand to prevent any potential discomfort or even damage to your backside.
If the water stream of the lowest setting is too harsh to you, you may need to decrease the water flow to bidet by adjusting the shutoff valve or valve on the T-adaptor.
Note that the T-adaptor in the kit doesn’t have a valve.
2. Install toilet seat bumper if the toilet seat doesn’t rest flat on the bowl
You may feel a bit awkward after installing this Luxe Bidet Neo 120 bidet attachment because your body will lead forward a bit due to the inserted bracket between the bowl and seat.
If you can’t get used to it, you can install toilet seat bumpers to elevate the seat.
3. Clean it regularly
The nozzle can get clogged, and the side panel can accumulate dust and dirt. To ensure your Luxe bidet lasts longer and has a good performance, you should regularly clean and maintain it.
